Photo sessions are unpredictable!

 we must take into account weather, lighting, bad hair days, wind, equipment failure, traffic, and (as a mom of 3 i especially stand by this one) tired kids! 

​

but no worries

​

i am here to provide the best photos i can and assist in every way possible.

with that said i like to prepare my clients for things that can happen and my plan of action to correct these things.

​

weather

i do my best to accommodate to all weather situations. 

​

too cold or too hot? i will allow breaks in between some photos to warm up/cool down in a car or building (especially with little ones)

​

rain? rain can create some great photos! if you prefer to reschedule don't hesitate to ask! i typically do not have any issues rescheduling sessions.

​

babies/kids

​

the safety and well-being of children is my number 1 priority.

​

i will not have your children pose in an unsafe way. if you feel a pose or position is unsafe please let me know and i will immediately change the pose!

​

if i am photographing your little one and they need to feed please do not hesitate to stop the session. this will not cause any fees or loss of time. 

​

if i am photographing your little one and it is too cold or too hot i will highly suggest breaks in between some photos to warm up/cool down in a nearby area.

​

children's moods are unpredictable. (i often carry candy or toys with my equipment. please let me know if you would prefer i not use/offer them)

some children do not like to be photographed.

the more people in the picture the harder it is to capture a photo with all individuals cooperating.

- the photographer is not responsible for the cooperation of individuals

​

- the photographer is not responsible for outfits chosen, makeup, hairstyles, etc.

​

however; i will always offer a re-shoot for a small additional travel fee if you are dissatisfied with your photos.

​

Harassment

weddings can get crazy and messy! your photographer is very experienced with this type of environment and will conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times. with that said, guests must also be respectful towards the photographer.any harassment or advances whatsoever will result in the dismissal of services for the remainder of the event. if a violent outbreak occurs at the event this also allows the photographer to remove themselves from the event. this is for the safety of the photographer and the protection of their equipment.

pets

pets can be very difficult to photograph but they are family! if you would like to include your beloved four legged family member please let me know ahead of time and i will do the best i can to pose them with you. 

- the photographer is not responsible for the cooperation of pets.

your photographer is only human

​

one photographer is provided for the event unless a second is requested. (a second photographer will result in an additional charge and must be requested 3 months in advance)

​

a list is provided below with "key photos" that your photographer will attempt to capture on your special day. you will be emailed this list and may modify the list to your preference prior to your event. i will do everything i can to obtain of all these photos along with any specially requested photos.

- the photographer can not guarantee the ability to obtain every photo requested but will do their best!

​

if for some reason i am unable to make a photo session or event i will always do my best to find a replacement at the same or a similar cost. 

​

- the photographer can not guarantee a replacement photographer but will guarantee a full refund if unable to make it to your event

​

quality

The quality of photos is dependent upon many circumstances. especially low lit situations. i have many pieces of equipment that help me to obtain the best quality photos i can and i am always adding to my equipment in order to better the quality of my photos.

- the photographer can not guarantee the quality of every photo. the photographer does not print photos for clients due to insufficient printing equipment. the photographer recommends a high quality lab to print your photos. the photographer can not guarantee the quality of printed low resolution photos and low quality photo labs including walmart, cvs, walgreens, and others.

editing

i always offer all edited photos to my clients. this is something very unique! i always want my clients to be satisfied with their photos and editing is very time consuming. i will do the best i can to edit the photos the best i can but i can not guarantee that i can edit them to the clients personal preference. please do not hesitate to ask if you need the photos lightened or darkened or see a flaw that i have missed but please take into consideration i will not alter the body image of an individual.

- No raw (unedited) images are provided. these are considered unfinished product and do not meet my high standards for my photos.

​

- please do not further edit the finished product you are provided with.

​

- please provide the photographer with credit when using photos on social media. if you crop out the photographers watermark on the photo you must credit the photographer everytime.
